Clinton E. Albertson was an Angelino who entered the Society of Jesus after graduating from Loyola High School in 1936. After completing an M.A. in English Literature at Oxford University in England in 1954, he taught English at Loyola Marymount until 1990. He then taught Medieval Art at LMU for three years, and then gave public lectures for LMU Extension in Ancient and Medieval European art and architecture. Over  50 years, he had occasion to travel widely in Europe and the Near East photographing the important ancient and medieval sites. He used his slide collection to enrich his student classes in the past, and now this site makes them available for all people through the LMU Jesuit Community website. Fr. Albertson died in May of 2007.
